Consistently reviewed by players as excellent and challenging.

LA CANA GOLF CLUB
Twenty-seven holes of golf at the Puntacana Resort & Club.
Hacienda, the inland 9-holes, and very scenic 9-hole Tortuga and Arrecife courses along the Caribbean Sea. Wide fairways and challenging, well-fortified greens. Players praise the views on holes 17 and 18 (hitting on the sea front). Designed by P.B. Dye, La Cana actually boasts 14 ocean-view holes with four playing right on the water's edge, and Seashore Paspalum grass allows for maintenance with minimal environmental impact.

PUNTA BLANCA GOLF CLUB
The first golf course in the Caribbean designed by South African player Nick Price, winner of the British Open (1994) and twice named Player of the Year (1993 and 1994) by the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA). In this course the greens have a lot of movement and are surrounded by jungle and large natural lakes. This par 72 course offers the player a challenge at each hole, while also being fun because of its broad and exciting fairways with their traps, lakes and the risky par 3 13th and 15th holes.

CORALES GOLF CLUB
Opened in 2010, Corales has been recognized for the effect the clear blue sea and the sharpness of its design have on golf plays. Corales Golf Club has six Caribbean seaside holes and was designed by Tom Fazio and Tom Marzolf along the natural cliffs, bays, ocean coves and the inland lakes and coralline quarries. The experience ends when playing Corales last three holes, including Devil's Elbow, the final shot over the rocky turquoise Corales Bay. The course is part of the Corales luxury residential enclave in the Puntacana Resort & Club.

CARIBBEAN GOLF CLUB
This is an 18-hole golf course that is part of the Catalonia Bávaro Beach, Golf & Casino, located in the Cabeza de Toro area near the airport. The course starts out with narrow fairways to test a player's accuracy, but then opens up for the driver with doglegs and up and downhill fairways. Palm trees come into play, even in the middle of the fairway.

CABEZA DE TORO GOLF CLUB
This 9-hole golf course is part of the Catalonia Bávaro Beach, Golf & Casino, located in Cabeza de Toro near the Punta Cana International Airport. The special part of this course is that the holes are arranged so that while you're having a great time playing, you can also enjoy views of the enormous lakes and tropical palms.

THE LAKES BARCELO GOLF COURSE
This was the first golf course in the entire Punta Cana tourist region. It is part of the Barceló Bávaro Resorts tourism complex. The course was originally designed in 1991 by Juan Manuel Gordillo around lakes and redone in 2010 by P.B. Dye, the son of Pete and Alice Dye of Teeth of the Dog fame. It has 25 inland lakes that meet players at 17 of the 18 holes. There are flamingos and ibis birds, turtles and huge tarpons in the lakes.

COCOTAL GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
Six-time winner of the Spanish championship, Jose "Pepe" Gancedo used the tropical terrain and breezes to drive the game when designing this course amidst tropical fruit trees, palm trees and lofty coconut palms. The course combines three nine-hole courses  Hibiscus, Bouganvillea and Benjamina. The course's trademark features are strategically-placed trees, bunkers, mounds and gently rolling terrain with well-defined and generous fairways. The course is part of the Cocotal Golf & Country Club residential area, and is next to the Palma Real Shopping Village. Guests staying at the Melia Caribe Tropical and Paradisus enjoy unlimited golf at the Cocotal course.

IBEROSTAR BAVARO GOLF CLUB
The Iberostate Bávaro Golf Club course was carefully designed by PB Dye, working closely with white sand and rock to create the bunkers in an eye-catching contrast with the intensely green Paspalum grass. There are lakes, streams and even some desert-like features in a combination of colors. Golfers of all handicaps are able to enjoy both the scenery and the game. With a course this relaxing, it is easy to play round after round. The course is part of the Iberostar hotel and residential development in Arena Gorda.

HARD ROCK GOLF CLUB AT CANA BAY
18 holes of championship golf designed by Nicklaus Golf.
